Positive - " Well this will be exciting don't you think?" - Copperheart is a very upbeat sort of tom, he enjoys seemingly everything he does and seems to try and get others to join in on his joyful nature. Even when things seem to be going poorly he never lets it get him down, keeping his head held high and his spirits up.
Brave - "I'll go, you stay here....if things go wrong run back to camp as fast as you can" - Ever since he was a kit Copperheart has been a brave young tom. Not stupid by any means he is more likely to run for help while on his own but when with others is willing to get in harms way to keep them safe with out hesitation. In his words "Well, I'm bigger then most...I've got a better chance to scare off trouble"
Big Brother - "We'll figure it out together, so just don't give up" - He tends to stick by other cats in trouble, and has a brotherly manner about him. Always looking out for younger cats and trying to keep them happy.
Not serious - "I'm just going to take a nap, I don't know why you're so worried" - Though his calm and happy nature is often a boon his lack of apparent care for the seriousness of situations puts him in danger. He'd rather let things work themselves out when it comes to his own problems, and seems to take even serious threats in stride. As he's aged he's begun to take some things into consideration, but still tends to look on the bright side.
Anger bound by worry- "I can't be stupid, she might get hurt..." - Though calm and gentle most of the time, Copperheart has a problem with his anger in battle situations but as he's grown he's started to be able to control it by concentrating on keeping others safe rather then punishing those who hurt them. The main focus of this control has been Honeywing, who he cares about more then anything else.
History

Copperkit was born to two warriors of Thunderclan, BrittleNose and HawkTail. He was the youngest of the litter of three, with an elder sister and brother, though his siblings were weak and never made it through the night. In contrast to his ill fated siblings Copperkit was a large tom kit, with a more then healthy appetite who took after his mother in color and his father in shape. Being the only surviving kit he was a bit spoiled, and grew quickly and soon enough was a rambunctious kit with his eyes set on exploring the world around him. He spent most of his time out and about as soon as his mother would let him out of her sight, exploring the apprentice den (and being kicked out) the warriors den (with the same results) and nearly stuck his nose into the leaders den (in till his mother grabbed him and gave him a talking to). His kit hood was happy, and carefree, having been to young to really understand the horrors of the attacks on he clan, knowing most of what happened through stories, through the lens of kit tales, but he decided early on he would never let any one hurt his clan again. The only mar on his happy life was his temper, it started small at first. Little things when his mother would argue with other cats. He'd become very angry, and occasionally yell when he shouldn't have, or pull on some ones tail who had bullied another kit. It all came to a head one night though, when he cornered a frog that had some how found it's way into camp. He'd meant to try and hunt it, but in his attempts it had ended up kicking him, and when he fell he got a scrape on his leg. That was all it took to send the little kit into a rage, and when his momother found him he had torn the frog up rather badly, though being only a kit it wasn't such a mess. Yet BrittleNose could see the anger in her kits eyes, and comforted him quickly, some how afraid of what might become of him and remembering stories of her own grandfather have had a rage that lead to his early demise. Because of this she took great lengths to teach her kit to ignore many things, and take every thing easy to avoid his anger rising.
Apprenticeship
Copperpaw had a rather fun and peaceful apprenticeship , but there were a few events. The first was a fellow apprentice, Echopaw, leaving, he hadn't been extreamly close to the she cat, but he had considered them friends, and her disappearance made him a bit more fearful of loosing others. When Honeypaw started spending more and more time away from camp, and him, he tried to contain his worry, but try as he might when she didn't return to camp one day he went sprinting out to find her, terrified she had left the clan to be with a wind clan apprentice. What he found instead was a sad, and lost Honeypaw who had just broken off contact with the young tom she had been falling in love with. Copperpaw had been a bit angry at first, but was to relived that she hadn't left to stay mad, and to worried about how sad she was to even stay upset. After that their relationship was closer then ever, and though young and unsure of himself Copperpaw began to realize he may feel more deeply for his friend then he had noticed. In the final days of their apprenticeship he and Honeypaw ran into a badger, and managed to hold their own till a passing thunder clan patrol rescued them.
Warrior
Finally a warrior Copperheart has calmed down a bit from his apprentice days...though not by much. Older, smarter, and more focused his devotion to his clan is only matched by his devotion to a certain she cat. After what seemed a short time as mates, Honeywing became heavy with kits. Though nervous to tell him at first once she did he was over the moon with joy. He may not have planned on them so early but he'd always wanted to be a father, and he couldn't imagine having kits with any one but Honeywing. The kits were born barley a moon before the clans went to battle over the albino kit, and for the first time Copperheart went off to something serious with out Honeywing by his side as he went to battle. He returned with only minor injuries, and is currently spending all his time split between his kits, his mate, and his warrior duties.

- NPC - Father - CopperHearts father loved his mother, but was never a very fatherly type. Not that he didn't try, he just wasn't cut out for it. Still loves BrittleNose and most think they will have another litter once Copperpaw is grown.

Best Friend -mate - HoneyWing and CopperHeart have known each other since they where kits, and the two are thick as thieves. Going on grand adventures regularly,
if only in there own minds, CopperHeart doesn't know what he'd do with out HoneyWing there to have his back.
After finally getting the courage to confess to her he was elated when she felt the same.
He loves her more then anything and is still in disbelief that he's lucky enough to have her feel the same especially now that they have kits.

His little egg as he liked to call her, Copperheart might dote on his daughter more then he should. Finding her the spitting image of her mother at times he just wants to sweet and gentle kit to be safe and little forever. He will have the hardest time watching her grow up for sure.

Even as a warrior Copperheart highly respects the older tom and sees him as a father figure.

-Fellow Thunderclan Apprentice- Echopaw is a bit stiff, but CopperHeart got to see a lighter side of her and knows she's an alright cat, Considers her a friend as he does with most cats he meets.

Though having only met her twice Copperheart seems to get a long with the river clan cat, and since she gave him some pointers on fishing he's rather happy about the friendly acquaintance

Copperheart never had much interaction with Wolfmoon, but he did know of his and Honeypaws secret meetings. He never held any ill will toward the tom but had decided he would never let him hurt Honeypaw again.

Copperkit had never been more excited then when his mother told him. He was going to be an apprentice soon! Of course, most kits would have already known when their sixth moon rolled around, but Copperkit had never been good at tracking time, and for all he knew he was 3 moons or even 300. He clicked his tail, laying on his back and looking up at the sky in the strange way he did most nights. He liked looking up at silverpelt, seeing all the stars shining down on him, the past warriors who had worked so hard to make the clan what it was. He was going to be up there one day. A day far away from now, but still, one day. He wondered if it was fun among the stars, they said it was the best place, with lots of pray and warm and safe. He wasn't sure how it could be any better then where he was though. To him,
Thunder Clan was perfect.
